Espaço Municipal and Maestro Samuel Santos School of Music establish a partnership for Tecmaia

Espaço Municipal, as the managing entity, has entered into a partnership with the Maestro Samuel Santos School of Music, with a view to strengthening and enhancing Tecmaia’s cultural dimension.
The school, located just 50 metres from Tecmaia, is a private music school dedicated to teaching music to all ages. Personal achievement and the development of musical skills are available to everyone on a wide range of musical instruments taught by qualified teachers. It is open to all who wish to learn music and enjoy the benefits of this sublime art. There’s no age limit, and the school provides internal certificates and others under an agreement with the Royal Schools of Music in the UK. During their studies, students are able to attend professional events, shows and concerts, to discover new artistic experiences.
The Maestro Samuel Santos Music School has scheduled a range of initiatives for Tecmaia that promote events associated with Music. Open classes, in the square outside Tecmaia and variety shows in the Auditorium are just two examples of what is planned. It should be noted that this agreement was signed during the first variety show, which was attended by an audience of more than 200 in the Tecmaia Auditorium. Inácio Fialho de Almeida, Executive Director of Espaço Municipal, Carlos Moreira, President of Moreira da Maia City Council and Sandra Araújo, for the technical direction of the School of Music, were all signatories to this friendship agreement.
